The Degree File includes all students who have received a certificate, degree, or formal award approved by DHE during the report year. Also contains data on age, ethnicity, program name, and residency. Data may be perturbed. We perturb some data where the student count is small enough in areas of student achievement where someone could personally identify a student. Usually, counts of 10 or less. This may lead to student counts being duplicated in some areas where a student is enrolled in multiple institutions or enrolled in multiple degree programs or awarded multiple degrees.

Appropriated Full Cost Of Instruction Expenditures Per FTE 2000-2015 | Last Updated 2016-03-21T20:57:47.000Z

This data set contains Appropriated Full Cost of Instruction Expenditures per FTE for Utah schools from 2000-2015. Full costs include the direct instructional cost plus most of the other costs mentioned above. To determine the full cost of instruction, the costs of the physical plant, institutional support, academic support, and student services are allocated to Instruction, Research and Public Service. Management decisions made at each institution determine amounts devoted to the direct cost of instruction and the full cost of instruction. These amounts are then divided by the number of FTE students to get the costs per student.
