This dataset represents all active warrants recorded by the Norfolk Police Department. This dataset enables citizens to search crimes by type, demographics of persons involved and total number of outstanding warrants Please note This dataset does not contain any active warrants that could possibly: • jeopardize an ongoing investigation, or prosecution, or the safety of an individual, • cause a suspect to flee or evade detection • result in the destruction of evidence

Norfolk Cares Center

10/30/19 - This dataset is currently not being updated while Norfolk transitions to a new data collection system for resident requests. We will resume updating the dataset as quickly as possible. This Dataset provides data from the IMPACT System. Data is collected by phone calls, emails, iPhone requests, and on-line requests from citizens and City staff. The Norfolk Cares Assistance Center provides a single point of contact for visitors, residents, businesses and City staff to request a city service, report a concern, seek information about Norfolk, or follow-up on a previous request for service.

Address Information

The Address Information Resource is a compilation of information related to active and pending addresses in the City of Norfolk. It provides a consolidated source to allow for quick and easy access to information about an address including details related to school districts, municipal services, planning, public safety, and civic leadership. It is one of the main data resources that provides content for the Norfolk AIR website (http://norfolkair.norfolk.gov/norfolkair).

Permits and Inspections

This dataset provides information about permits and their associated inspections, violations, and status information. The issuance of building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, fire, amusement, elevator, certificates of occupancy, and zoning permits starts in the Development Service Center (DSC) where they are entered into BasicGov, the City’s ePermitting system. The purpose of the Development Service Center (DSC) is to consolidate acquisition of permits to one central location within Norfolk City Hall for the convenience of customers. This adjustment was made to facilitate Norfolk’s initiative to become a more responsive customer-oriented organization.

Property Assessment and Sales - FY18

This dataset represents real estate assessment and sales data that is updated on a quarterly basis by the Real Estate Assessor’s Office. This dataset contains information for properties in the city including: Acreage, Square footage, GPIN, Street Address, year built, current land value, current improvement values, and current total value. The information is obtained from Real Estate Assessor’s Office ProVal records database.
